Very solid posting, Stella!!! Really nice case study and you did a nice job with your root cause assessment.
I think you could have done better with your analysis of the alternatives. Your "issue list" is a valid tool but it really doesn't substantiate very much.
What I would suggest would be for your W6 posting, that you look at Chapter 14 in your Engineering Economy book. Pick at least one of the non-compensatory models and one of the compensatory models and apply those to your case study and see if you come out with the same conclusion.
Also, by using the multi-attribute tools/techniques, it makes it MUCH easier for you to monitor the decision in Step 7, as you have a more quantifiable set of results.
One last item- you are still not being consistent with your citations....
Brassard, M, and Ritter, D...............
Tate, K. and Martin, P...............
Tague, N.R...............
Always LAST NAME first....
Keep up the good work, Stella but with the holidays approaching it would be wise to get a bit AHEAD of schedule, don't you think? Build in a buffer so if you get busy over the holidays, you can skip a posting and not fall behind?
