Hmmmmmm...... Joe, you are doing a great job of setting this up using our 7 step process, but what I am expecting to see in your Step 5 would be to take the same table you showed in Step 3 but this time, compare the costs of crashing to get rid of the negative float.
Then in your Step 4, Acceptable Criteria it should say something like "Select the option which gives us the most schedule compression at the least cost".
Then in Step 6, there should be another table which shows us which of the feasible alternatives gave us the most schedule compression at the least cost.
Also, you cited Humphrey's incorrectly. Sorry, but I have to ask that you redo this posting labeling it W6.1. But this time, I expect to see actual calculations in Steps 5 and a summary in Step 6.
Also, take a couple of minutes to fix your citations. I hate to harp on that but if you get in the habit of doing it correctly, it will save BOTH of us time later on when you do your paper.
